GC is used to test cannabis for:
- Potency
- Terpene profiling
- Pesticide screening
- Residual solvents analysis
With the appropriate detector, GC can separate and identify cannabinoids, terpenes, pesticides, and contaminants in flowers, extracts, and/or edibles.

OPTIMA 5 MS Accent Features:
- Maximum temperature for isothermal operation 340°C
- Maximum temperature for short isotherms in a temperature program 360°C, for columns with films > 0.5 µm maximum temperatures are 320 and 340°C, respectively
- Chemically bonded, cross-linked silarylene phase with polarity similar to a 5 % diphenyl-95 % dimethylpolysiloxane phase
