WAX Silica Gel
WAX Silica is a weak anion exchanger. The bare silica is modified using Polyethylenimin (PEI) which includes several tertiary Amine Groups in the skeleton. The polymerization degree is about 30.
WAX Silica is suitable for the separation of strong basic compounds and has a strong ion exchange capacity.
Amine Groups: WAX Silica is three times greater than Amine Silica
Carbon Chain: Amine Silica < Diamine Silica <<< WAX Silica
Retention Time in Normal Phase mode: WAX Silica <<< Diamine Silica < Amine Silica
