Decontamination (Remediation) of Cannabis and Hemp Extracts

It is well known that all extraction processes used to obtain Cannabinoids from Cannabis and Hemp plant material removes and concentrates both Cannabinoids and contaminants.
In many states in the USA, as well as abroad, the concentration of these contaminants in Cannabis Extracts are regulated.
These contaminants include:
- Pesticides
- Herbicides
- Fungicides
- Synergists
- Heavy metals
At Sorbtech, we have developed and patented (pending) a cost-effective post-extraction process to remove all the contaminants listed above too far below the maximum permitted concentrations. In most cases, they’re removed to non-detectable levels; that is, they are removed entirely.
The results were presented and well-received in the USA at several Cannabis Conferences.
