Cellulose Ion Exchangers – PEI
Suited For The Separation of Substances With Exchange-Active Groups
Sorbtech supplies TLC ready-to-use anion exchange layers of polyethyleneimine (PEI) cellulose. PEI is not a chemically modified cellulose, but a complex of cellulose and polyethyleneimine.
PEI cellulose is a relatively strong anion exchanger, which is mainly used for the analyses of nucleic acids. A key application of CEL 300 PEI is analyzing mutagenic substances with a 32P-postlabelling procedure.
Recommended Applications:
- Amino acids
- Peptides
- Enzymes
- Nucleic acid constituents (nucleotides, nucleosides)
